Applications

We can cut parts in all common materials with many common features and custom shapes.

Some advanced design ideas include:

  • Hooks,
  • Tabs,
  • Slots,
  • Radius bend formed tubes,
  • Sharp bent tubes,
  • Folded joint, and
  • Plug-in connections for joining other tubes,
  • Shapes,
  • Flat and even press brake bent parts.

This allows part designers to have creative reign over a unique and cost-effective way to manufacture parts.

We have been tube laser cutting since 2004 and have amassed a tremendous amount of knowledge to produce some of the most complex and challenging tube cut parts in the world. Many other lesser experienced shops would either pass on or fail to correctly make these parts, all at a cost that may surprise you.

Requirements

Since there are no “stack-up” tolerance issues when you are using conventional operations and our machines use some patented technologies to hold the tubes, parts made on our tube lasers are quite accurate. Keep in mind that we can cut almost any shape imaginable in tubing walls or tube ends. Eliminate most if not all your machining, tooling, punching, drilling, tapping and even some bending by using Ohio Laser for your tubing requirements!

Call us with either simple or your most demanding and problem parts as our engineers and operators love a challenge and do not forget to check out our videos to see our laser tube cutting equipment in action!

  • Please send us your CAD data in the following formats to allow us to expidte your tube quotes and orders. *.sldprt, *.sldasm, *.x_t, *.step, *.stp, *.igs or *.iges. Please also include a PDF drawing for other pertiant information.
